OverviewThe Digital Systems department at NIO is responsible for building highly reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure and platforms for intelligent and fully autonomous driving vehicles. It’s scope ranges from vehicle operating system software platform, central computer and SOA-based digital architecture, automation simulation test platforms, cyber security, vehicle cloud & connectivity. As part of the Digital Security team, we are looking for a creative Staff DevOps Engineer to make constant improvement in the automation infrastructure on various security systems, such as Public Key Infrastructure, authentication and authorization, crypto services, and cross-data center access controls, etc. 
You will be in charge of the specification and documentation of the new project features by contributing on the automation of build, release, metrics-reporting, and test processes for all our projects, both on-premises and Clouds (AWS, QCloud).

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy highly scalable fault-tolerant infrastructure solutions across a hybrid cloud environment
• Support day-to-day user requests for AWS services and configuration
• Create and Support CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Jenkins, Gitlab, Artifactory, Docker & Kubernetes
• Work with the Information Security team to ensure applications and workflows meets or exceeds company security policies.
• Engage proactively with end users to ensure their services are deployed following security best practices
• Automation and configuration management of Linux instances in both on-premises and AWS cloud platforms
• Some On-call or after hours may be required from time to time

Qualifications

• 5+ year experience in DevOps (focus on CI/CD methodologies)
• Demonstrated experience of Linux system administration and AWS administration (Lambda, ECS, EC2, ELB, VPC, RDS, Route53, S3, CloudWatch)
• Working knowledge in container and container management technologies such as Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes
• Experience with Git source control and ideally cloud based Git providers such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins
• Exceptional knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and SSL
• Knowledge of Network architectures such as routers, firewalls, load balancers
• Experience writing code in a language such as Bash, Python, Go, or Java
• Experience with working within a compliance framework, and ensuring compliance requirements are met. i.e., ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.
• Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive
• Strong self-initiative, interpersonal skills, and the flexibility to quickly synthesize new ideas and concepts
