Job Description

QuantumScape is on a mission to transform energy storage with solid-state lithium-metal battery technology. The company’s next-generation batteries are designed to enable longer range, faster charging and enhanced safety in electric vehicles to support the transition away from legacy energy sources toward a lower carbon future.

As the Administrative Assistant reporting to CEO’s Sr. Executive Assistant, this role will provide confidential support within the organization and provide cross functional assistance to multiple C level Executives. This position will work side by side with the Sr. Executive Assistant to help balance the requests of the Executive Staff priorities within the organization and leadership team. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, can anticipate needs, is motivated by “detailed execution", can take over a project with little direction, has a positive demeanor, and loves a challenge.
Responsibilities:
Provide a wide variety of support functions to executives and organizational teams. Heavy calendar coordination, Run Expenses reporting and help with editing documentation. Coordinate internal and external meetings, including working with staff on developing agendas, ordering food, events set up and breakdown. Can help build presentations, organize shared drives using Microsoft Office Suite, book travel arrangements (domestic and international) Organization and prioritization of multiple requests. Ownership and follow through on execution. Ability to be discrete and handle critical information. Mange Purchase requisitions and PO processing on Ariba, Other Misc responsibilities and projects, including Corp events, etc.
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year college or university; or five (5) or more years of administrative assistant experience.Excellent time management skills with the ability to work with no little or no supervision while performing duties in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Work closely with C-Suite and advanced skills with Outlook calendar management.Experience booking complex travel, events planning, experience handling multiple expense reports.Advanced skills in computer operation; and specialty software programs (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point and Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive).Exceptional written, and interpersonal interaction skills with the ability to provide leadership. Courteous social skills to welcome visitors in a business environment.Detailed understanding of management procedures; ability to plan department activities (setting objectives, developing strategies, budgeting, and developing policies and procedures).Have passion and enthusiasm for playing a supporting role and contributing to Executive team vision.Experience in Purchase Requisitions, using Ariba and working with sensitive documentation.Available to work onsite daily.
