<h2>What The Role Is</h2>Reporting to the Director of Commissioning &amp; Commercial Integration, the Senior Commissioning Manager will implement an effective commissioning program for a Clearway Utility Scale Renewable Energy project. A successful commissioning program includes planning and preparation of commissioning trackers, assure compliance with testing processes and procedures, conducting safety oversight, and commissioning test report reviews. The Sr. Commissioning Manager will be meticulous, have strong leadership and communication skills, technical expertise, analytical thinking abilities, and mathematical and administerial knowledge.This position will be Remote based with periodic site visits to various projects required.<h2>What You'll Be Doing</h2>Planning:<ul><li>Attend pre-construction meetings, review project Agreements, construction schedules, and coordinate with the Project Team on planning stage specifications and technical questions.</li><li>Review and understand the project technical requirements found in the project Agreements, IFC drawings, applicable codes, standards, and specifications related to the Utilities, ISO’s and Offtakers.</li><li>Ensure project commissioning requirements and deliverables are clearly defined and aligned with the project and company goals.</li><li>Review installation manuals and submittals to understand the installation and commissioning process for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical tasks.</li><li>Attend pre-construction alignment meetings prior to all new construction activities beginning with contractor.</li><li>Review Site-Specific Safety and Commissioning Plans and Lock out tag out (LOTO) procedures.</li><li>Oversight of project based commissioning personnel and assignments</li></ul>     Stakeholder Communication:<ul><li>Serve as a point of contact for project-related commissioning inquiries, both internal and external.</li><li>Coordinate communication between project teams, Contractors, Suppliers, Offtakers and regulatory agencies as it relates to commissioning of the project.</li><li>Collaborate with the project team on First Build, Golden Row/Golden Tower installation inspections.</li><li>Cross functional communication and support for project commissioning.</li></ul>Documentation:<ul><li>Ensure Contractor documentation meets project Agreement requirements for deliverables.</li><li>Build and maintain Commissioning test trackers for Contractor deliverables</li><li>Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for review of test documents for approval or remediation.</li></ul>Quality Control Support:<ul><li>Assist with quality control processes to ensure projects meet industry standards, manufacture specifications, and applicable code requirements.</li><li>Attend Pre-Construction Alignment Meetings, First Build, and Golden Row/Golden Tower Inspections.</li></ul>Compliance:<ul><li>Ensure installation and testing is in accordance with the project agreements, industry standards, manufacturer specifications, applicable code requirements, safety regulations, and that any necessary certifications are obtained.</li><li>Ensure the appropriate test equipment is utilized by the Contractor to perform the task and tool calibration records are maintained and available upon request.</li></ul>Continuous Improvement:<ul><li>Analyze data from inspections and testing to identify trends and areas for improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with project teams to implement corrective actions and process enhancements.</li><li>Maintain in-process lessons learned log.</li></ul>Risk Management:<ul><li>Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
