Job Description

Afresh is on a mission to eliminate food waste and make fresh food accessible to all. Our first A.I.-powered solution optimizes ordering, forecasting, and store operations for fresh food departments in brick-and-mortar grocers. About the role
  • Directly impact our mission of reducing fresh food waste by working on products to enable grocers to better manage and optimize fresh food merchandising and supply chain.
  • Collaborate closely with our product and design teams to build rich and engaging user experiences.
  • Write code that is clean and easy to maintain and perform code reviews with meaningful feedback.
  • Lead on full-stack product development projects.
  • Help lay the foundation of our web application through establishing best practices and evaluating new technologies.
  • Debug and triage issues to learn and establish ownership in team domains.

Skills and experience

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience with full-stack and API development
  • Proven track record of shipping high-quality apps and services
  • Collaborative attitude while also being highly self-directed
  • Proactive in self-development and healthy attitude in receiving feedback
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Technologies: JavaScript required, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL preferred
