Their mission is to support the high speed growth of the marketplace and international expansion of the business.As a Legal Counsel, your role will be to provide support to our marketplace, bus and train business teams on multiple legal practice areas such as commercial contracts, e-commerce, consumer protection and competition law. You will be reporting to the Head of Legal and working with a team of approx. 10 people. Knowledge in EU and FR law is a must; Knowledge of a foreign law (such as laws from Spain, Mexico, Ukraine)  is a strong asset.This position requires the capacity of working in a fast growing tech company, of developing a high level of understanding of how our product works and of creating close connections with operational teams. Having an appetite for project management is a must. Your Responsibilities <ul style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;padding-inline-start:48px;"><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Be a trusted advisor to the marketplace, bus and train business teams in multiple  jurisdictions within EU and beyond by providing creative solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations, with a specific focus on our OTA (online travel agency) role;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Managing any pre-litigations and litigations;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Drafting and negotiating all types of contracts (including commercial contracts, partnership agreements, etc);</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Collaborate with internal partners, and notably government relations team, to respond to requests from regulators;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">All other matters which arise in the day to day running of an expanding business;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Areas of particular relevance include consumer issues, commercial contracts,  transportation regulation, e-commerce, digital law, competition law.</li></ul>Your Qualifications <ul style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;padding-inline-start:48px;"><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">6 to 8 years of experience as a qualified lawyer in an EU country, with experience in start-ups and new technology companies, either in house or in private practice;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Knowledge and experience in dealing with a range of commercial issues such as e-commerce, platform regulation and consumer protection;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Knowledge and experience dealing with regulatory topics;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Comfortable working in various jurisdictions;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Business oriented, creative and solution driven mind-set;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Experience creating and managing processes and moving large-scale project forward;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Autonomy and sense of initiative;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Ability to work fast and meet aggressive deadlines;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">Flexibility and eagerness to learn new areas of law;</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Questrial , sans-serif;">You have excellent communication skills, you’re humble, and you enjoy sharing &amp;
