Develop cutting-edge technologies to improve Xylem's software offering. Create and maintain UI and back-end oriented services and micro-services utilized by the rest of our architecture. Engineer code that is efficient, standard and well documented. Take on challenging tasks as needed with an eagerness to develop skills in new areas. Bring to the job an excitement and work ethic on par for a startup technology firm.List the essential functions and major activities in order of their importance.<ul><li>Design and develop components</li><li>2 years minimum of Windows application development (C#/.net) in a team environment</li><li>Proven ability to develop applications in a large-scale, high-performance environment</li><li>Experience developing desktop applications using UWP, WPF</li><li>Experience using Entity Framework, or similar object relational mapping tools.</li><li>Experience using SQL Server, or similar relational database management systems.</li><li>Experience and understanding of design patterns and dependency injection.</li><li>Experience and understanding of unit testing.</li><li>Understanding of SOLID principals.</li><li>Detail-oriented and organized.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Ensure the quality of releases, including participating in peer code reviews.</li><li>Integrate internal software with third-party applications.</li><li>Support existing software in the organization.</li></ul>Minimum professional and educational background desired (include years of experience)<ul><li>BS in Computer Science or BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Electronics &amp; Communication or related fields or Master in Science in Software or MCA</li><li>2+ years of experience in C# application development (WPF/UWP) and/or User Interface creation(HTML/CSS/JS/MS Blazor)</li><li>CI/CD (GIT/ Jira/ Bitbucket/ Jenkins)</li><li>C# application development</li><li>Good to have MAUI</li><li>Good to have ASP.NET MVC/Web API knowledge</li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
