AMP Robotics is hiring an Accounts Payable (AP) Manager reporting to Accounting Manager to focus on managing all aspects of our Accounts Payable process.

As our AP Manager, you will work to:

  • Manage, motivate, supervise and evaluate the accounts payable department and staff in the organization.
  • Develop and document accounts payable systems, policies, and procedures including controls that adhere to Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Ensure that the accounts payable financial obligations are met timely and efficiently and monitor critical vendors accounts and payments.
  • Oversee tax-related processes, including use tax and 1099 calculations, processing and filing.
  • Review and assist with all payment transactions such as ACH, wires, and checks via 3rd party processing software.
  • Supervise and assist as needed in data entry, data validation, and processing of invoices, company credit cards, and employee reimbursements.
  • Be active, professional and proactive with regard to interactions and communication with external vendors, contractors and/or employees.
  • Perform accounts payable monthly close procedures including but not limited to reconciliation of software systems and AP-related general ledger accounts.
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal business partners to drive and build relationships and a team environment
  • Produce weekly AP reporting to the finance and accounting teams to assist in calculating and updating the Company’s weekly cash forecast

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise Accounting Clerk(s) in accounts payable area.

The successful candidate will have:

Required:

  • Experience with leadership roles and display problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must have substantial ERP AP system experience as well as use tax and 1099 filing experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, and vendors.
  • Strong analytical, multitasking and time management skills.
  • Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail.

Preferred: 

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, Tipalti, TripActions (Liquid), Expensify,  Avalara, Google Sheets and Microsoft Office software systems.

Education:

  • Bachelor’ s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: 

  • 5 plus years of accounts payable experience.
  • 3 plus years of supervisory experience.

Salary & Compensation Information: $70,000-85,000 depending on experience.

Benefits Information:

  • Medical - The company covers up 85% to 100% of the premium for Cigna healthcare plans depending on the selection. Employees pay the difference in premium if they select a more expensive plan. Up to 75% for dependents.
