Growth You’ll Foster

As the R&D Project Manager at Regrow, you will manage a portfolio of projects for our commercial and nonprofit customers. These projects often serve as the first step of our product development process, allowing our remote sensing scientists and machine learning engineers to deeply understand a new problem space. In this role, you will oversee project planning and execution, managing customer relationships from project scoping to delivery. Regrow’s products connect directly to our end users, allowing growers and the companies that depend on them to build more sustainable supply chains. As part of the team, you will work with a range of stakeholders to integrate project learnings into our product roadmap.

What you will do:

• Manage the planning and execution of multiple Research and Development projects for commercial and non-profit customers. 
• Work with technical and business teams to identify opportunities across Regrow’s R&D portfolio to advance product development initiatives 
• Identify, anticipate, and work to resolve issues related to project scoping, progression, and  technical execution. 
• Coordinate delivery of data products, reports, and research results by ad-hoc and cross-functional project teams
• Manage R&D customer relationships through out the project lifecycle (project initialization, scoping, execution, delivery, etc)

Qualifications: 

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Earth Science, Remote Sensing, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong SQL programming skills
• 2+ years of experience in a technical or scientific project management role, including liaising with cross functional teams (eg technical, Product, Business)
• Experience working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. 
• Excellent English language communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong, productive relationships.

• Experience working with products teams in the agricultural, environmental science, or satellite imagery domains
• Intermediate Python programming skills
• Familiarity with Google Earth Engine or other cloud-based satellite imagery analysis environment
