SUMMARY

This position is an integral part of the Revenue Operations team and works with both internal and utility partners to ensure that we are delivering bill credits to our growing consumer and commercial customer base in an optimal fashion. You will help improve our processes for interfacing with utilities and other stakeholders to continually enhance the experience of our customers, the financial performance of our solar projects, and our commitment to decarbonization.

The Lead Analyst helps to both solve challenging present day situations impacting our customer base and solar assets and supports the optimization of processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading the investigation, analysis, and solutioning for utility data related issues for the Revenue Operations team.
  • Using Excel, Salesforce, Zuora, and Netsuite to accurately track, analyze, and process customer credit data.
  • Using both data analysis and critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve customer level and project level issues.
  • Helping to drive process optimization and ensuring that there are robust quality monitoring programs in place to deliver an industry leading customer experience.
  • Supporting both new project onboarding and the maintenance of current assets.
  • Partnering with other teams within Customer Experience Operations and Nexamp to help with process improvement.
  • Working as part of a team, collaborating, and communicating in order to consistently make us better.
  • Partnering with and supporting the utility relationships team members in regard to current and historical utility challenges which impact customer billing and service.
  • Advocating on behalf of our projects with utilities and other stakeholders.
  • Auditing data systems to ensure customer credit information, allocations, and necessary personal information is accurately stored and up-to-date.
  • Completing all/any necessary monthly tasks relating to projects escalated to the Lead in a timely manner.
  • Working as part of a team, collaborating, and communicating in order to consistently make us better.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, results-oriented and operate well in a collaborative, team environment. The ideal candidate should be prepared for increased responsibilities as they relate to the role and in a rapidly growing company.

  • 3+ years analytical or data analysis experience
  • You have thorough working knowledge of Excel and experience as such
  • You have knowledge of Net Metering and Community Solar
  • You use strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • You exercise an analytical mindset and have comfort with large data sets
  • You exercise strong attention to detail
  • You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You work with a high sense of urgency
  • You work well with multiple/diverse groups and enjoy collaborating as part of a team
  • You are self-motivated, self-starting, and self-assured
  • You are comfortable working in a changing/growing environment

PREFERRED 

  • You have experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM
  • You have experience working in or with (the) R and/or Python programming languages
  • You have experience with Zuora subscription billing software
  • You have knowledge of clean energy technologies and an understanding of various clean energy markets.
