We are looking for a focused and strategic Director of Legal who is excited about partnering with leadership to build a world-class Legal function at an organization making a meaningful difference in the world. They will hire, train, and retain a high-performing team and implement processes and systems that scale with Aurora’s hyper-growth, and set the company up for future success.

What you'll do:

  • Drive our legal strategy and design and implement best in class legal processes
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and negotiate legal issues across multiple aspects of the business including customer, vendor, and employee agreements
  • Manage our relationships and budget with external counsel
  • Advise leadership on corporate governance, including Board matters, stock administration, business conduct, litigation, and other policy matters
  • Assist leadership with M&A and capital markets transactions
  • Be a trusted business partner who will help the Company identify underlying risks, how to mitigate them, when to avoid them, and what risks to take
  • Direct the legal entity formation associated with international expansion efforts
