As part of the OVO People Team, this role sits within Talent Acquisition, the team responsible for discovering talent to power OVO with people who will change the world and help us reach our Plan Zero goals.

Our aim is to become the leading place to work in the UK, so to do this we need to find phenomenal people for the business to help tackle humanity’s greatest challenge.

This role in particular will support recruitment across all of our brands.

What will I be doing?

This role involves screening CVs, interviewing candidates, arranging interviews and supporting the operational side of hiring into all departments. There’s a lot to do in this role and it's a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your recruitment experience and play a central role in our organisation’s future development.

Key responsibilities include:

Own and develop candidate generation and candidate pipelines, ensuring the most appropriate and cost effective recruitment avenues are utilised.

Engaging with hiring managers across the group to ensure that we are consistently recruiting within best practice frameworks across the company.

Advertising roles and coordinating interviews using our online recruitment system, Greenhouse.

Maintain and share subject matter expertise in all areas of recruitment and selection to advise and upskill partners across the business

Drive the internal referral process as a successful pipeline and a brand engagement tool

Maintaining high levels of data integrity in all of our internal systems including our Applicant Tracking System, Greenhouse.

Championing our diversity and inclusion strategy, and building diverse teams

Is this the job for me?

You’ll be speaking to a high volume of candidates for multiple roles and arranging interviews with a variety of teams, so organisation is key! You need to be comfortable picking up the phone and spending a lot of your time speaking to candidates about what it’s like to work at OVO, our Plan Zero goals and assessing their suitability for the role.

Ideally you will have:

Strong personal impact and relationship building skills, with the capability to engage with candidates, managers and external agencies

Successful demonstrable experience of managing and prioritising multiple time sensitive projects effectively

Very strong organisation skills with fantastic attention to detail

The ability to work in a highly changing environment, and able to deal with ambiguity well

Experience with calendar scheduling and spreadsheets would be a plus

Proven verbal and written communication skills

High pace, resilience, gravitas and flexibility
