This role combines strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis, and a proactive approach to business partnering. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in driving strategic decision-making through financial insights.</p><h2><strong>Responsibilities and Duties  </strong></h2><ul><li>Proactively partner with business units and key stakeholders to understand their financial needs and build strong relationships.</li><li>Provide financial expertise and support in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights.</li><li>Contribute to financial strategy development and implementation aligned with business objectives.</li><li>Develop and implement data visualization for effective communication of financial information.</li><li>Drive annual budgeting and ongoing reforecasting processes.</li><li>Develop and maintain financial models for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.</li><li>Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.</li><li>Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management.</li><li>Assist in building and maintaining the Strategic Financial Model.</li><li>Own and ensure the smooth operation of key financial systems (including: SAGE X3, inventory management system, etc.).</li><li>Lead the implementation and integration of new financial systems, collaborating with relevant teams.</li><li>Proactively identify and implement improvements to financial systems and processes for efficiency and automation.</li></ul><h2><strong>Knowledge and Skill Requirements </strong></h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.  </li><li>3-7 years of experience in an FP&amp;A role, with a strong understanding of financial operations and processes.  </li><li>Proven experience in developing and implementing financial models, conducting analysis, and presenting financial information.  </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.  </li><li>Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.  </li><li>Experience with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., SAGE X3) is a plus.  </li><li>CPA or MBA is a plus. </li></ul><h2><strong>Physical Demands and Working Conditions</strong></h2><ul><li>This role is onsite at the Alameda campus.</li><li>Ability to move long distances between buildings and remain stationary for extended periods.</li><li>Operate standard office equipment, including computers and laptops.</li></ul><p> </p><p>The starting base pay for this role is between $136,000 and $172,000 at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills.
