Job Description:

Atomo Coffee is currently seeking an experienced Sales Director who is strategically-minded and driven to succeed! You are highly efficient  and understand the importance, as well as excitement, of working in a start-up environment, which includes wearing many hats and the opportunity to drive sales strategies from ideation through fruition. Atomo is preparing to launch its flagship products into the market and you will have the responsibility of creating the team and strategy that will get us there.

The Sales Director will lead the Sales team as well as be a key asset to the Growth Team at Atomo. This role will report directly to the Head of Growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and lead the launch of Atomo’s retail sales strategy

  • Work jointly with the Brand and Marketing Teams to achieve outstanding in-store merchandising, programming and promotions

  • Establish strong key relationships with top buyers and retail managers, specifically in the specialty food space

  • Develop and deliver sales forecasting per region, short and long-term.

  • Take lead and initiative in understanding overall category and competitive trends.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 year’s experience selling CPG brands (preferably RTD and bag coffee) directly to national and regional retail accounts (including Grocery, Drug, Mass, Convenience, Natural and Specialty).

  • Existing Buyer and C-Suite relationships with major retail accounts.

  • Experience sourcing, onboarding and hiring national account managers and sales agencies.

  • Deep understanding and experience in SKU rationalization, developing retailer specific data stories, retailer joint business planning, category management, and P&L management.

  • Successful and demonstrable experience in new product sell-in, velocity focused growth, and responsible distribution growth.

  • Retailer tribal knowledge of in-store execution tactics, promotion and pricing strategy.

  • Ability to both strategize and execute, must be willing to carry the bag.

 

Additional Details:

Pay Range: DOE $135-150k + Equity
