Roles and Responsibility: Operations &amp; Maintenance<ul><li>Operate and monitor equipment such as pumps, motors, blowers, conveyors, compressors, etc.</li><li>Carry out routine inspections of mechanical systems and record key parameters.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs as per checklists.</li><li>Support operation of pneumatic systems, valves, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.</li><li>Ensure equipment housekeeping and adherence to SOPs.</li><li>Maintain shift logbooks, checklists, and equipment running records.</li><li>Maintain the Documents like SOP, Logbook, Test reports, calibration reports, ISO documents Etc.</li><li>Maintain AMC contracts for equipment and ensure availability of critical spares.</li><li>Ensure adherence to OEM recommendations and statutory guidelines during maintenance.</li></ul>Breakdown &amp; Trouble Shooting<ul><li>Attend mechanical breakdowns immediately and restore equipment with minimal downtime.</li><li>Diagnose faults related to vibration, leakage, belt/chain failure, bearing issues, temperature rise, abnormal noise, etc.</li><li>Replace worn-out parts such as belts, bearings, seals, hoses, gaskets, filters, etc.</li><li>Assist engineers and OEM technicians during major repairs.</li></ul>Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Follow all mechanical safety procedures and plant safety rules.</li><li>Strictly adhere to LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) during maintenance.</li><li>Report unsafe conditions, equipment abnormalities, and near misses.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain shift activity reports, PM checklists, and breakdown logs.</li><li>Enter readings for utilities (water, air pressure, temperature, etc.) accurately.</li><li>Record breakdown details, maintenance activities, and meter readings like water consumption, chemical    consumption, Etc</li><li>Provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Support<ul><li>Work closely with electrical, utility, production, and EHS teams.</li><li>Support shutdown jobs, maintenance overhauls, and audits.</li><li>Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.</li></ul>Skills and Competencies<ul><li>4-6 Years in relevant field, ITI Mechanical/Fitter (capable of handling utilities &amp; process equipment).</li><li>Hands‑on experience with pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, and rotating equipment.</li><li>Ability to read basic mechanical drawings (GA, isometrics, P&amp;ID).</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical systems.</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Safety‑first approach and understanding of industrial safety norms.</li></ul>
