Their main task consists of more manual work such as picking parts. They may utilize forklifts and tow motors to pick and transport parts to designated areas; however, employees should be forklift certified before operating a forklift. As long as the employee is capable of performing the physical work, he or she is likely able to perform the material handling tasks in Material Handler I.
