Key responsibilities include maintaining and strengthening customer relationships through on-site visits within the assigned territory, as well as engaging clients via multiple communication channels to close deals and provide ongoing support. You’ll respond to inquiries with expert product recommendations and guide opportunities through all stages of the sales pipeline using CRM tools, which are also used for forecasting and SIOP planning.The ideal candidate will have a commercial or industrial water treatment background, and brings a sense of urgency, prioritize safety, and work collaboratively across teams to execute sales strategies and uncover new business opportunities, all while maintaining high service standards and growing sales volume. This person will be required to live in the territory and go into the branch office as needed. Responsibilities: • Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in assigned territory • Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients • Collaborating with marketing team to create and implement sales strategies • Attending industry events and conferences to promote company's products • Tracking and reporting on sales activity and performance • Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients Business Development: • Researching and identifying potential clients in assigned territory • Cold calling and networking to generate leads and expand client base • Conducting market research and staying updated on industry trends and competition Sales Management: • Setting and achieving sales targets in assigned territory • Collaborating with sales team to meet overall company goals • Providing training and support to new and existing sales team members • Monitoring and analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement Client Relationship Management: • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients • Understanding and addressing clients' needs and concerns • Acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure client satisfaction • Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross selling products to existing clients. Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, economics, finance, or a related field with at least 5 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. • Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist in a related industry. • Proficiency in integrated business management and CRM software. • Advanced knowledge of business development, marketing strategies, and brand expansion. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Innovation: Propose creative solutions. • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software is also beneficial. • Planning, Scheduling, Budgeting &amp; Resource allocation. • Effectively manage improvement projects throughout the project’s life cycle, ensuring strategic alignment and deliverable focus.Salary:The estimated total target compensation range for this position is 130K-170K (salary plus sales incentive).
