You’ll work directly on the manufacturing floor alongside Automation &amp; Controls Engineers, Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and equipment vendors to keep our equipment safe, reliable, and performing at its best.You’ll work with technologies including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, servo and motion systems, machine vision, motor controls, safety systems, and industrial networks while gaining exposure to advanced manufacturing equipment as we scale our operation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities  <ul><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Troubleshoot and repair electrical, controls, and automation issues involving PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, motors, drives, servo/motion systems, machine vision, safety circuits, and industrial networks.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Use electrical schematics, PLC/HMI diagnostics, test equipment, and equipment documentation to quickly identify faults and restore equipment to safe operation.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, qualification, preventive maintenance, and production ramp activities alongside Engineering and equipment vendors.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Investigate recurring equipment failures, participate in root-cause analysis, and implement improvements that increase uptime, OEE, cycle time, yield, and reliability.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Perform approved component replacements, wiring modifications, control-panel work, functional testing, and other hands-on equipment repairs.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Maintain accurate troubleshooting, repair, software backup, and change-management documentation while sharing knowledge and escalating complex issues appropriately.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Work safely and maintain a clean, organized manufacturing environment.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)Experience/Education<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Associate degree, technical certificate, apprenticeship, military technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience in Automation, Controls, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">2+ years of hands-on experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment, industrial controls, electrical systems, or similar equipment.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Hands-on experience accessing and troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, including navigating PLC/HMI diagnostics, interpreting faults and I/O status, and identifying and correcting equipment issues. </li></ul>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Working knowledge of industrial automation and PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Ability to troubleshoot sensors, actuators, motors, drives, relays, contactors, safety devices, and control circuits.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Basic understanding of PLC logic and the ability to use PLC/HMI software for diagnostics and troubleshooting.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to determine whether an issue is electrical, controls/software, equipment, or process-related.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Strong communication, documentation, and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally</li></ul><h3>Nice to Have</h3><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Experience with Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, and/or Omron PLCs.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Experience with machine vision, servo/motion systems, industrial networks, pneumatics, temperature controls, or industrial instrumentation.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:arial , helvetica , sans-serif;">Experience supporting equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, or manufacturing startup.</li></ul>Working Conditions/HoursHourly Non-ExemptMonday-Friday 1st Shift 8 am - 5 pm + occasional weekends as needed. Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
