How you’ll make an impact <ul><li>Manage period-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. </li><li>Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and management reports for both internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Supply Chain Management and Project Management and Shared Service Centers regarding payables and receivables, general ledger and other accounting matters.</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in partnership with the Business Controller.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, corporate policies, GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards. </li><li>Support internal and external audit activities and contribute to regulatory and statutory reporting requirements. </li><li>Research and resolve technical accounting matters to ensure accurate financial treatment and compliance. </li><li>Partner with the Business Controller and Project Controllers by providing financial analysis, insights, and guidance to support business decisions and project performance. </li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial processes, reporting quality, and operational efficiency.</li></ul> Your background <ul><li>MSc degree in Accounting or Finance.</li><li>Proven working experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably within a large, multinational corporation.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (GAAP and IFRS).</li><li>Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.</li><li>Excellent accounting software user and administration skills (e.g., SAP, Oracle).</li><li>Advanced Excel skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Fluency in English and Finnish is required; proficiency in Swedish is an advantage.</li></ul>More about usReady for a new exciting challenge?
