As a Senior Designer - Electrical (Resources + Industry) you will be a key contributor within a multidisciplinary design team, working closely with regional  engineers, designers, project managers and global delivery teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective and fit-for-purpose solutions on mining and industrial projects. Working within a collaborative global delivery model, you will contribute to the successful execution of projects while maintaining alignment with clients, regulatory, and quality requirements. Here is what you will do:<ul><li>Produce and coordinate detailed electrical designs, layouts drawings, models and documentation in accordance with the standards applicable to the project location, client specifications, and project requirements. </li><li>Perform advanced electrical design and drafting using AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise, BIM Forma and other relevant software. </li><li>Develop concept and detailed designs for mine services, materials handling facilities, transport systems, water infrastructure, fuel facilities, industrial plants and associated electrical systems. </li><li>Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, civil, process and control systems disciplines to ensure fully integrated design outcomes. </li><li>Participate in model reviews, design reviews and clash resolution activities to support efficient project delivery. </li><li>Manage drawing registers, design deliverables, document workflows and assigned work packages. </li><li>Conduct quality reviews of your own work and provide checking and mentoring support to junior designers. </li><li>Collaborate effectively with regional project teams, stakeholders and clients to manage technical queries, priorities and deliverables. </li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, design innovation and the development of standardised work practices. </li><li>Support the development of engineering capability and knowledge sharing across the global delivery network. </li></ul>Here’s what we’re looking for:<ul><li>Able to work independently on complex electrical design tasks while seeking clarification where the technical basis is incomplete. </li><li>Accurate and disciplined, with a strong record of self-checking and document control. </li><li>Clear communicator who can collaborate confidently across countries, cultures and disciplines. </li><li>Organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without losing control of quality. </li><li>Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to raise design concerns and risks early. </li><li>Collaborative and willing to mentor colleagues, share knowledge and support team delivery. </li><li>Demonstrated experience supporting Australian, North American, or other international engineering projects within a global delivery environment. </li><li>Familiarity with Australian Standards, client specifications and engineering delivery practices is highly desirable. Demonstrated learning agility and the ability to quickly adopt new standards and project requirements are essential.</li></ul>
