Job Brief

As an Executive Assistant to the Chief Science Officer, as well as the Admin Coordinator, you will provide crucial organizational and time management support, enabling our CSO and the contract admins to perform their work efficiently. In this role, you will work closely with the CSO, contracted admins, and others to provide scheduling, tracking, external coordination, and a variety of other organizational and administrative tasks. 

What You Will Do

  • Own the inbox of Twelve’s CSO, push projects forward, manage communications with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor, track, and respond to correspondence as needed
  • Create and maintain organization / filing systems 
  • Support information gathering for large projects
  • Create a center of excellence for administrative support through resource creation and information sharing
  • Help prepare communications for internal and external meetings, events, and conferences
  • Interview other stakeholders in the organization and develop cross training for contracted admins
  • Small projects & other duties as needed

  • Associate’s degree in STEM, business management, nonprofit management or related field
  • 5+ years experience working in a large corporate environment or startup

  • You are capable of thinking and planning strategically, while also keeping your eye on the crucial details and ensuring their execution
  • You learn and adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • You are proactive with a can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in
