The Brand Manager will be expected to:

  • Review all content and materials to ensure they meet brand guidelines, recommend updates and changes where required
  • Create and drive the execution of new brand campaigns;
  • Support the brand development of existing and new company products and programs

In addition, the Brand Manager will create measurable Objectives and Key Results (Key Performance Indicators) which will be used to track and report project success.

About you

You’re deeply interested in how companies find and communicate their brand, voice and identity. You’re both a creative thinker and a stickler for the fine details that make a company who they are. You are curious about the concrete and climate tech sectors and how CarbonCure is helping to reduce the carbon footprint of the concrete industry around the world, and you want to put your skills to work for a company that’s committed to sustainability and ensuring a healthy planet for future generations. You’re known for being quick to learn a company’s brand identity - and then, for finding creative ways to express that identity and communicate it in new contexts.

What you'll be doing

    • Expertise in brand development and meaningful experience in decision making around both maintaining and updating brand identity for a commercial business
    • Rigorous attention to detail for both written and visual materials to ensure brand integrity
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a propensity for collaboration and idea-sharing across teams and with customers and other third parties
    • Experience as a self-starter who is able to work autonomously in a results-oriented environment, with an ability to independently and quickly assess problems and propose solutions
    • Highly effective organizational skills in a rapidly-growing organization, with ability to balance priorities and manage projects from start to finish and adjust to changing requirements on the fly
    • Strong commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace
    • Ability to effectively collaborate with a geographically-dispersed team
    • Passion for positive and meaningful environmental change and technology innovation would be preferred
    • Background in sustainability, carbon removal, ready mix concrete, precast concrete and/or other sectors of the building industry (development, architecture, structural engineering, contracting) would be a major asset

    What You Need to Succeed

    • Post-secondary education in a field related to communications, marketing or design is preferred.
    • 5-10 years of experience in a related marketing or communications role. In-house commercial business experience, especially in tech, is ideal.
