Working with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality, this role helps ensure component availability, technical compliance, and production continuity.ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Research, evaluate, and qualify alternate components to support product continuity and cost optimization.</li><li>Assess datasheets, specifications, and form-fit-function compatibility.</li><li>Monitor component lifecycle status, supply risks, PCNs, EOLs, and lead times.</li><li>Support alternate sourcing, second-source qualification, and last-time-buy activities.</li><li>Maintain component data, AML/AVL records, compliance documentation, and approved alternates within PLM/ERP systems.</li><li>Generate lifecycle, obsolescence, and supply risk reports.</li><li>Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to implement component changes and resolve issues.</li><li>Support ECOs, document control, and compliance with applicable regulatory and customer requirements.</li></ul><div></div>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.</li><li>Understanding of semiconductor fundamentals (diodes, BJTs, FETs, IC operation basics).</li><li>Ability to read schematics and interpret semiconductor datasheets.</li><li>Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.</li><li>1-3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, component engineering, sourcing, or quality.</li></ul><div></div>JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES<ul><li>Understanding of electronic components, including semiconductors, passives, connectors, and power devices.</li><li>Ability to read datasheets, schematics, and technical documentation.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools.</li><li>Familiarity with databases, SharePoint, PLM/ERP systems, or similar platforms.</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul><div></div>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Experience with SiliconExpert, Octopart, Z2Data, IHS Markit, or similar lifecycle management tools.</li><li>Exposure to BOM management, ECO processes, and product lifecycle management systems.</li><li>Familiarity with SMT assembly, PCB/PCA manufacturing, and contract manufacturing environments.</li><li>Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of component qualification, obsolescence management, and supply chain risk mitigation.</li><li>Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems.</li></ul>  Salary Range: $72,800.00-$97,100.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
