Coordinate system integration activities and ensure effective interaction between subsystems, suppliers, and external partners.</li></ul> <ul><li>Verification &amp; Validation: Define and coordinate system-level integration, verification, and validation strategies, including test planning, requirements verification, and requirements closure.</li></ul> <ul><li>Technical Risk &amp; Product Assurance: Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and design drivers. Work closely with Product Assurance and engineering specialists to define and implement appropriate mitigation measures.</li></ul> <ul><li>COTS &amp; Supplier Engineering: Support the selection and integration of COTS components and subsystems. Provide technical direction to suppliers and partners and ensure compliance with system-level requirements.</li></ul> <ul><li>Design Reviews &amp; Technical Milestones: Lead the system-level technical preparation and participation in design reviews and major technical milestones, including PDR, CDR, qualification, and verification activities.</li></ul> <ul><li>Customer &amp; Project Interface: Act as the primary technical interface to customers, suppliers, partners, and project management. Support the Project Manager with technical input on scope, cost, schedule, technical risks, and engineering changes.</li></ul> <ul><li>Standards &amp; Systems Engineering Practices: Apply and continuously improve INCOSE, NASA, and ECSS Systems Engineering practices within Yuri and ensure their consistent application throughout the system development lifecycle.</li></ul> WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: <ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.</li></ul> <ul><li>Experience: Several years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, ideally within aerospace, spaceflight, or another multidisciplinary engineering environment.</li></ul> <ul><li>Systems Engineering: Solid experience in requirements engineering, system architecture, interface management, trade studies, system integration, verification, and validation. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and driving technical decisions.</li></ul> <ul><li>Standards: Good knowledge of the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook, NASA Systems Engineering Handbook, and relevant ECSS standards.</li></ul> <ul><li>Tools: Experience with requirements-management and Systems Engineering tools. yuri is a space biotech company that uses the microgravity environment of space to develop and manufacture superior biotech products. The team of 30+ space engineers and biologists has worked on 20+ payloads for the International Space Station in collaboration with organizations like NASA, ESA, GSK, Charit&eacute; Berlin.
