SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for supporting, and helping to improve, the process by which we connect our customer base to our solar assets. This position is an integral part of the Revenue Operations team and works with both internal and utility partners to ensure that we are delivering bill credits to our growing consumer and commercial customer base in an optimal fashion. You will help improve our processes for interfacing with utilities and other stakeholders to continually enhance the experience of our customers, the financial performance of our solar projects, and our commitment to decarbonization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completing the monthly roundup of utility data to ensure timely billing for our customer base.
    • Obtaining the information from our utility partners
    • Analyzing the data to ensure accuracy and completeness
    • Reporting the information clearly
    • Delivering the data file to the Billing team in a timely manner
  • Using Excel, Salesforce, Zuora, and Netsuite to accurately track and process customer credit data.
  • Using multiple systems to identify and solve problems, including any customer-facing billing discrepancies.
  • Updating and maintaining task-tracking and reporting systems to ensure internal stakeholders are aware of the status of deliverables.
  • Handling issues from start-to-finish, following through any open or pending items and actions. If an issue requires the transfer to troubleshooting, strong communication and organization is expected.
  • Supporting both new project onboarding and the maintenance of current assets.
  • Advocating on behalf of our projects with utilities and other stakeholders.
  • Partnering with other teams within Nexamp to help with process improvement.
  • Working as part of a team, collaborating, and communicating in order to consistently make us better.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, results-oriented and operate well in a collaborative, team environment. The ideal candidate should be prepared for increased responsibilities as they relate to the role and in a rapidly growing company.

  • 1-2 years analytical or data analysis experience
  • You have thorough working knowledge of Excel and experience as such
  • You use strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • You exercise an analytical mindset and have comfort with large data sets
  • You exercise strong attention to detail
  • You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You work with a high sense of urgency
  • You work well with multiple/diverse groups and enjoy collaborating as part of a team
  • You are comfortable and eager to learn new skills and tools
  • You are self-motivated, self-starting, and self-assured
  • You are comfortable working in a changing/growing environment

PREFERRED 

  • You have experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM
  • You have experience with BI tools (Power BI, Sigma, Tableau)
  • You have experience doing data analysis with Python, SQL, or R
  • You have experience with Zuora subscription billing software
  • You have knowledge of clean energy technologies and an understanding of various clean energy markets.
  • You have knowledge of Net Metering and Community Solar
