Job Description

What We Need

 

Rove Charging is an EV Charging Infrastructure company bringing the next generation of EV Charging to market. As a Platform Product Manager, you will be part of the Technology and Product Team, facilitating an exceptional user experience by delivering and maintaining app and platform high availability, security, compliance, robustness, resilience, as well as manage API’s and 3rd Party integrations for the Rove Platform and mobile applications.

What You Will Do

  • Provide world class Platform Product Management by managing and supporting the roadmap and ongoing development and feature delivery of Rove Charging’s Technical Platform and mobile apps.
  • Mange feature development, and engineering teams to deliver enhancements, bug fixes and new version releases for the Platform and Mobile Apps based on Product Roadmap.
  • Work with engineering to improve and develop core platform features, monitor, and manage key APIs and data schema, and manage vendor integrations.
  • Develop and maintain a solid knowledge of Rove Charging Product capabilities.
  • Develop strong, positive partnerships across Rove Charging teams, including Marketing and Development teams. You will inspire trust and confidence in your ability to deliver through clear and proactive communication, customer empathy, and reliable execution.
  • Work closely with your colleagues in Engineering and Leadership to plan effectively, validate product and technical assumptions, and iteratively deliver value that moves the needle for the Rove Charging Network.
  • Maintain roadmap, vision and technical debt and requirements for our API’s, integrations, and platform robustness ensuring and implementing requirements and enhancements for security, uptime, performance, compliance, as well as platform innovation.
  • Intake Requirements cross-functionally with Product Operations, Product Support, Technology, and Marketing, and Finance, for feature or optimization requests.
  • Define needs for enhancing platform robustness, performance, and data tracking, competitive analysis capabilities, customer feedback mechanisms, KPI development and reporting needs. You will contribute to our shared understanding of what good looks like across multiple dimensions of quality.
  • Execute audits of technical debt and roadmap feature estimates and budget impacts and prepare research results to be shared with leadership.
  • Assist with the creation and optimization of Product and Support Documentation and promote and encourage best practices for both internal and external customers.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and training to other Product Support Staff and/or 3rd Party Vendors.
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.

 

Who We Believe Will Be An Excellent Fit

  • 5-8+ years in AGILE Software and Technical Product Management, building and delivering technical software products through the full SDLC lifecycle for SaaS, and were responsible for 3rd Party Integrations for an enterprise software company preferably with B2C applications.
  • Strong knowledge of integration architecture, patterns, and platforms, understanding of cross-application business processes and flows, and knowledge of API best practices.
  • Sufficiently conversant in technical issues to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understands cloud based platforms, Web APIs, client libraries, SDKs and microservice architectures. 
  • Experience with IOS and Android mobile applicaiton development.
  • You strongly empathize with customers. You can sit down with users and understand the ways that your product is not satisfying their needs.
  • You have Design Thinking and Human Centered Design Skills. You can perform UX Product discovery workshops with stakeholders and deliver product definitions and roadmaps from that.
  • Experienced in presenting to senior management and key stakeholders and winning support for your ideas. You excel at earning trust and are comfortable saying “no”. Superb communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills are a must, as is solid attention to detail.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments, where you’ve overcome challenges that require versatility, creative problem-solving and effective teaming to resolve.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in a related field, and or Product Owner/Manager, Scrum Master Certifications.
  • Knowledge of Security and Compliance requirements for SaaS solutions and Enterprise Organizations. SOC 2, PCI, PII NIST.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in renewable energy or energy transition fields.
  • Prior Experience in EV Charging a plus.
