About the Role 

The Growth and Marketing team is the voice of the rider at Spin, and we engage with millions of riders everyday to increase their usage of Spin vehicles. Our team is responsible for communicating with our riders with acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation campaigns. We are data-driven and experimental, always running tests and learning about our riders.  The Manager for Growth and Marketing will manage Spin’s lifecycle marketing and growth strategy - from planning to execution and analysis. 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Develop holistic rider growth strategy
  • Design creative, data-driven tests to learn about what moves our riders.
  • Partner closely with on-the-ground teams to roll out new growth campaigns - working alongside product, design, and finance
  • Own lifecycle marketing campaigns across email, push notification, SMS and in-app channels to increase ridership, reduce churn and improve retention.
  • Communicate experiment and campaign results across key stakeholders to raise awareness of impact and leverage learnings

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a growth, data-driven, and/or technical marketing role, with experience planning, executing, and analyzing lifecycle marketing campaigns (email, push, in-app)
  • Experience running experiments with the ability to translate data into hypotheses, execute A/B tests, and optimize campaigns
  • Strategic and analytical thinker; data-driven insights inform everything you do
  • Creative and empathetic thinker; you always think rider/user first
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, specifically with Product, Data, and Operations
