It’s scope ranges from vehicle operating system software platform, central computer and SOA-based digital architecture, automation simulation test platforms, cyber security, vehicle cloud & connectivity.   A primary mission of Digital Systems North America R&D Center is to lead the research and development of industry-leading operating systems for autonomous driving vehicles (NVOS – NIO Vehicle Operating System) from the ground up. This is an opportunity to solve a wide range of technical challenges, such as building a high-performance & secure OS based on microkernel architecture, deeply customized Linux and in-house hypervisor for automobile-grade safety, seamless app development on heterogeneous hardware chipsets, low-latency and high throughput data processing, powerful AI framework, and complete toolchains to supply Android-like development experiences.  We are looking for a very experienced Technical Program Manager for our North America R&D Center to accelerate innovation to help bring us to mass production for NVOS.  

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple scrum teams using the Agile processes for timely delivery with quality
• Supervise and facilitate teams in all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, sprint demos, retrospectives, and daily stand ups
• Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and coaching them to higher levels of maturity
• Facilitating consensus building and a self-organizing culture to achieve optimal efficiency for product development execution
• Coordinates communications, escalates and facilitates the resolution of risks, issues and changes
• Works in partnership with the engineering managers to create accurate and timely updates, to prioritize and escalate issues, and to facilitate resolutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or master 's degree in CS or EE or vehicle related major with 4+ years of relevant experiences
• MUST have worked with technical projects relating to software
• Excellent verbal & written communication skill, with the ability to effectively interact with technical team members
• Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Master/Product Owner (CSM, CSPO, SAFe) or equivalent professional qualification with broad experience of working in a variety of Agile environments of different maturities
• Have a good understanding of various aspects of software development processes and procedures
• Exposure to large scale Agile delivery across multiple teams and geographies, experience with Jira or other agile tools
• Collaborative mindset, with an ability to empathise with colleagues and establish relationships
• Able to work effectively in a fast pace environment with competing resources and priorities
• Any prior software development or testing experience (Frontend,Backend and embedded system) is a plus
