Job Description

QuantumScape is on a mission to transform energy storage with solid-state lithium-metal battery technology. We are seeking a professional, people-oriented HR Generalist to join the Human Resources team and help our company scale, our managers to lead, and our people to grow. In this role, you will support employees across QuantumScape with the administration of HR programs, along with communication and interpretation of policies. The position is a true HR Generalist role, covering a broad range of areas and collaborating across the HR team to deliver an excellent employee experience.
The preferred candidate will have a successful track record of problem-solving, a willingness to learn, excellent communication & people skills, and the ability to interact positively with all levels of employees.
Job Responsibilities:- Performs administrative tasks required to process and deliver HR programs, including but not limited to: performance management, benefits, immigration, and employee experience- In conjunction with our Health Benefits broker, review benefits enrollment with employees, cancellations, or changes. Coordinate and support annual open enrollment communications and election process. Verifies benefit billing accuracy, reconciliation, and processes for payment- Work with immigration law firm to provide employee information, coordinate with employee’s manager for additional job content description/information, and support review of USCIS forms in preparation for Total Rewards & People Programs Manager review and signature- Administrate team member engagement surveys, summarize results, and support communication follow-up- Support SAP SuccessFactors system implementation and data migration from ADP. Support ongoing maintenance of system data for the Total Rewards and People Programs area and as needed.- Provide support to employees in various HR areas and resolve any issues that may arise- Assist in development and execution of people programs and enhancements- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field- Minimum 1 year of HR Generalist experience- Sound understanding of general HR business processes, policies, and procedures- Experience with Benefits administration, partnering with brokers & carriers- Working proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint- Proficiency in problem-solving- Desire to work on a team with a results-driven approach- Excellent organization & prioritization skills to complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency- Experience using SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
