Salary: £57,500 - £77,500

Kaluza wants to power a world where net-zero is within everyone’s reach, by building the platform that will accelerate a sustainable, affordable and resilient energy transition. It’s a huge challenge, but often the toughest problems are the most rewarding to solve.

Since launching in 2019, Kaluza’s technology has been empowering some of the biggest energy suppliers to better serve millions of customers.

From revolutionising billing to smart electric vehicle charging, our real-time cloud platforms transform supplier operations, reducing cost to serve and boosting engagement. And most importantly, they enable suppliers' customers to drive decarbonisation with smart, low carbon technologies.

Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?

You’ll be joining the Kaluza Product community. We’re a group of Product Managers and Leaders focused on translating complex needs into simple and innovative solutions that solve real customer and business problems.

You’ll be working on the Kaluza’s Energy Retail platform. This is a single instance, SaaS technology platform that aims to revolutionise the operating platforms for energy retailers globally. This platform has been built with scale and technical quality in mind and is the foundation for decarbonisation efforts by Kaluza’s customers. We’re looking to transform to a multi-tenant, international ready model to help the business take on new challenges and external customers.

What will I be doing?

Product Managers within Kaluza work in product teams building a platform bringing new and engaging innovative solutions to challenges faced by the energy sector. Already supporting the UK and Australian market, our next big challenge is to scale up, and support innovation.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic product manager to join our team responsible for energy tariff propositions. As part of the role you’ll be responsible for enabling Energy Retailers to build exciting and functional tariffs for a range of complex energy scenarios. You’ll work with a fantastic team of engineers, and other teams in the Energy Billing space to build APIs, self-serve tooling, and customer experiences.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and motivating your product team to define and execute on OKRs.
  • Working with your product team to define your product roadmap.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to form your product backlog.
  • Being a leader and working with colleagues across the organization to drive the platform forward towards the Kaluza company vision.
  • Delivering your product backlog and achieving your OKRs and product mission.

Is this the job for me?

Ideally you’ll have/be

  • Are an accomplished technical product manager or engineering manager with a product mindset.
  • Have experience of complex delivery challenges with multiple stakeholders.
  • Lead from the front, delivering new and creative solutions for unsolved problems.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to cut through opinions with data.
  • Can communicate and collaborate effectively with leaders and team members alike.
  • Have experience of leading lean product development teams.
  • Can quickly understand and master new domains and recognise that there is always more to learn.
  • Are comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adaptable to changing market needs.
  • Have experience of building platform products.
