Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?

The Senior Brand Designer will sit within our fast-growing Marketing and Regulatory function and will work closely with product marketing, business development and external communications. This role will manage at least one direct report, a headcount that is planned to increase further throughout 2022. 

 

What will I be doing?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Brand Designer to shape and develop Kaluza’s visual brand strategy. This is an exciting and highly creative role with a mission of building a strong brand image so that Kaluza is recognised as the leading Software as a Service (SaaS) business in the energy space.

  • Create and implement Kaluza’s visual branding strategy, ensuring the brand is visually engaging and consistent across multiple mediums, and enhances our written content
  • Get hands-on to produce design assets in a range of formats as needed for marketing purposes and for stakeholders across the business 
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders sharing skills, knowledge and experience as a creative authority for the business
  • Plan and resource projects working closely with the wider marketing team
  • Manage a brand designer, coaching them and supporting their learning and continuous professional development
  • Manage external agencies as needed 

 

Is this the job for me?

Ideally you’ll have/be

  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a Brand Design Manager or Senior Brand Designer (or similar)
  • You have extensive design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates high creative standards, strategic thinking and versatile design approach across platforms and mediums
  • Video production and editing skills, fluency in Figma and core Adobe Creative Cloud including Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience in managing creative members of the team and workflow / process
  • Experience creating branded assets for events, expertise in working with printers, merchandising, creating brand guides/toolkits/templates, Google Slides, art direction
  • Nice to have: understands technical/software competitive brand space, experience with corporate global brands, localisation and business to business audience needs
  • Commercially aware with a creative eye
  • You will manage, prioritise and deliver your projects efficiently with the ability to react to business needs as necessary
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of the relationship between brand strategy and design
  • You have an interest in and knowledge and understanding of brand elements and architecture
  • You have a hands on and dynamic approach
  • You have a strong ability to collate and present information in a clear, concise way
  • You are a pragmatic and practical self-starter; an outcomes oriented person who can juggle multiple workstreams, loves to problem-solve and can efficiently drive a collaborative process
  • You have outstanding organisational skills and project management expertise
