Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid remote working)

Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?

You'll be joining the Kaluza Technology community. We’re a large team of both data-led and product focused Software and Production Engineers, pushing the boundaries of technology and working at an extraordinary scale. As a collective we strive for engineering greatness and by ensuring best practices across the board of the community.

What will I be doing?

As a Solution Lead, you will drive the solution design for our most complex implementations and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients.  You will become an expert on the Kaluza software-as-a-service products: how they work, how to configure them, and how to integrate with and extend them.  With our clients’ success as your top priority,  you will combine this expertise with your knowledge of the energy industry and technology ecosystem to drive high quality, high value solutions.  

Responsibilities include;

  • Developing relationships with client stakeholders and advise them on their implementation projects, guided by a deep understanding of their business goals and technology ecosystem
  • Soliciting and documenting client-driven requirements for the Kaluza platform in partnership with the Kaluza Business Analysis team
  • Providing solution expertise to guide implementation activities performed by our client, third-party partners, and Kaluza teams
  • Representing client implementation team in raising technology/feature requests to product, technology, and support teams
  • Serving as the authoritative source of information within Kaluza for the clients’ technology ecosystem and how Kaluza fits
  • Encouraging adoption of features and capabilities by supporting customised reviews of new releases and providing related technical guidance
  • Participating in the management of high-severity incidents, advocating for clients and guiding response team based on client-specific considerations 

Is this the job for me?

You’re the right person for us if you;

  • Have many years of experience in the following areas: Software Engineering, Technical or Solution Architecture, Consulting, Client Success, Technical Account Management
  • Have experience in the energy retail or utility industry
  • Are skilled at translating business needs into technical requirements enabling engineering teams to develop solutions iteratively
  • Are passionate about working with stakeholders across Kaluza and its clients to ensure high levels of engagement and knowledge sharing
  • Are proficient at producing visuals to meet the needs of the audience. (i.e. high-level conceptual visuals, low-level detailed visuals and everything in between)
  • Have a personal alignment with the Kaluza values and mission
