As an Senior Associate on the Ridehail Partnerships, Strategy & Planning team, this role will be responsible for driving strategic insights & analysis across the Ridehail Business Unit (RBU) and Commercial Operations teams. You will be a world class problem solver with the ability to build detailed financial frameworks, models, and analysis to help drive decision making for Cruise’s RBU. You will be a key cross functional partner to operations teams, and will need to become the go-to person for analytical alignment between teams.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Building tools & financial models, growing into the go-to RBU guide with Finance and Operations teams
  • Lead complex projects & strategic partnerships, owning internal alignment and execution while supporting external strategic partnerships
  • Partner with product, tech, operations, marketing, legal, and many other cross-functional teams to measure the impact & efficiency of business or partnership initiatives
  • Scope new opportunities across Cruise’s ridehail business, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Advise senior leadership on business priorities through competitive research & industry benchmarking
  • Prepare and communicate clear and effective presentations and memos for senior leadership and other partner discussions to frame issues, deliver recommendations, promote dialogue and drive decision-making
  • Provide thought leadership on problems without precedent

What you must have:

  • 2-4 years of work experience in management consulting, investment banking, or comparable strategic/partnerships role at a high-growth technology company
  • Experience leading large cross-functional and data driven initiatives
  • Experience with cross-functional relationships and having direct working relationships with leaders
  • Outstanding project management skills and proficiency in proactively coordinating and leading cross-functional initiatives, and leading large and diverse teams and drive tasks to completion
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
  • Ability to thrive in a faced paced environment and up-and-coming problem areas
  • Great teammate: this is a highly collaborative role, one that will touch many areas of Cruise at the peer and senior executive levels
  • Undergraduate degrees in Economics, Statistics, Business, Finance, and other data/analytical related subject areas
