This role is an integral part of a 14-person foundation relations team, which raises approximately one-quarter of Earthjustice’s contributed revenue. The team has grown and evolved tremendously in the last 5 years and is now in a new phase of growth, organized by functional expertise. The fundraisers on the team are supported by a writing team as well as a systems and operations team.
The Foundations Associate works under the supervision of the Associate Director of Foundation Relations to help the entire Foundations Team with data hygiene, systems and operations. This position requires a self‐starter who is able to work both collaboratively and independently and possesses strong interpersonal skills. The position requires excellent data entry and project management skills, diplomacy and discretion, and the ability to adapt and think creatively.
The Foundations Associate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and be highly detail‐oriented.
This position performs a variety of foundation support tasks, including copy-editing assignments, help with writing Board and other reports and donor relations and database tasks such as funder acknowledgements and data updates and queries. It requires frequent interaction with staff members within the organization.
This role can be based in the San Francisco, CA office or Remote from the US.

Qualifications
Salary is based on experience and location.
Salary range in San Francisco, CA: $61,600 - $68,400
Salary range for remote (within the US): $52,400 - $68,400
*A more specific range based on location will be given to candidates who move forward in the hiring process.
