About the Role

We’re seeking an exceptional new team member who will lead commercialization efforts for Fyto. The ideal candidate is an experienced and talented business model innovator with an insatiable drive to understand and optimize the food system.

What you’ll do

  • Along with the executive team, lead the iteration and execution of Fyto’s go-to-market strategy
  • Lead early business development activities for Fyto with particular emphasis on California dairies
  • Build and manage a nimble team that will grow customer awareness and demand with agricultural producers in the State of California and beyond
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate proposals, business projections, and risk assessments for new commercial projects
  • Lead techno-economic and carbon-reduction analysis for a variety of scenarios
  • Establish and maintain meaningful strategic partnerships that allow Fyto to achieve an accelerated path to scale
  • Represent the company in key discussions, activities, and events with regional, state, national, and international partners
  • Identify and apply for key funding opportunities

 

Your required qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in economics, finance, or similar
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience bringing early-stage products to market, owning the full commercialization process from market research to go-to-market plan development and execution
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, and Word)
  • Quick learner who is flexible, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup

Other preferred qualifications

  • Expertise in agriculture, waste-to-value, and/or other relevant cleantech commercialization
  • Experience working in a start-up environment
