Why We’re Rad (about us): Rad Power Bikes is on a mission to get people onto bikes, electric bikes that are built for everything and priced for everyone - the weekend warriors, hardcore commuters, and family cyclists.
Madly growing and headquartered in Ballard, we are seeking a part-time Ebike Mechanic to join our team. If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are looking to support a dynamic team, read on.
This role will ensure customer bikes are maintained properly to run at peak performance all year round in San Diego. If you are a person who likes to wrench on bikes and troubleshoot ebike systems, we need you to help build our world-class service department!
Hours are 8:00am - 6:30pm. Our service teams operates 7 days a week on a rotating schedule of 4 day, 10 hour shifts. Schedule is subject to change according to business needs.
We offer full paid training on our bike models so ability to learn is key.
We are open seven days a week, 9am to 5pm. Weekend availability required.

- 2+ years of experience with bikes in a formal setting
- Friendly humans who want to help our riders
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with working on bikes - your own or in a bike shop
