RER Solutions, Inc. is accepting resumes for Asset Backed Securities Specialist to become a part of our superior workforce in Washington, DC. The Asset Backed Securities Specialist will provide onsite and remote federal program support at the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead transactions and communications with applicants for federal loans in the clean energy sector
  • Assess asset level file review, capital structure cash flow modeling, recomputing advanced asset and bond analytics, and review of relevant offering documents
  • Play a substantive lead role in each engagement execution and planning for each proposed securitization transaction
  • Oversee and perform procedures on each securitization transaction engagement using various analytical tools
  • Help develop and maintain securitization collateral and cash flow models, analyze results and provide explanations for discrepancies with each transaction's offering documents
  • Review offering documents and provide comments on the collateral analytics, waterfall, and various conceptual descriptions
  • Manage expectations of deliverables and timing with Underwriters, Attorneys, and engagement teams
  • Develop, build, and maintain strong client relationships
  • Counsel and mentor consultants and senior consultants
  • Review and negotiation of legal transaction documents
  • Develop marketing materials and presentations for clients
  • Prepare written credit summaries and present them to the credit committee
  • Due diligence of existing and potential clients that includes reviews of the operations, strategy, and asset and financial performance
  • Responsible for the reconciliation, payment of income, and all aspects of income collections and disbursements

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client-issued Public Trust
  • A minimum of fifteen years of securitization experience
  • Ability to respond creatively and quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a small team environment.
  • Understanding of asset level exit strategies, such as the collateral liquidation process and government-sponsored refinance programs
  • Knowledge of market trends and activities
  • Strong analytical, quantitate, and modeling skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and an understanding of fundamental business writing
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

 

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
