The Opportunity: 

We're looking for an Account Manager to support our growing sales, managing accounts, and optimizing the platform experience for clients. You will be the main point of contact for existing and new Full Harvest customers and will work closely with tech, operations and sales to create a top notch customer experience. We’re looking for a customer obsessed, driven, problem solving, self-starter to join our fast paced team.

Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Demo’ing technology and closing qualified food & beverage companies
  • Building long-term customer relationships, increasing revenue from spot sales to contracts, and building strategic sales plans
  • Providing consistency and excellence in customer service and customer satisfaction
  • CRM data management using Salesforce
  • Gaining an understanding of the client’s business and products and utilizing that knowledge to help drive new and add-on sales
  • Developing and encouraging new and repeat business opportunities with assigned customers
  • Attending food and agriculture events to network and build relationships with buyers
  • Communicating all industry related information and data to customers that will contribute to their growth and education
  • Analyzing customer product categories and profit margins to develop plans for growth and profitability
  • Helping to onboard customers onto our platform
  • Support on customer pricing
  • Quarterly customer visits to manage relationships (10% travel)
  • Making recommendations to tech team based on customer relationships and feedback
  • Analyzing sales data in order to identify trends and make insightful recommendations and ensure success metrics are met
  • Continuously reviewing the sales management process to look for ways to make improvements and introduce efficiencies

Who You Are: 

  • Must have 3-6 years of B2B account management or customer success experience within a startup or fast-growing company
  • Builds trust quickly with customers and internal team
  • Ability to develop and encourage new and repeat business opportunities with assigned customers through cross-selling and upselling
  • Start up experience a big plus
  • Marketplace, Saas and/ or tech subscription sales a big plus 
  • Strong problem solving and execution skills
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
  • Excel at entering and retrieving data from multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
  • Good time management and multitasking skills with ability to prioritize and shift focus as needed
  • Strong follow-through skills, especially following up with multiple teams to get information needed to resolve pending opportunities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to write succinct messages and communicate clearly
  • Tech savvy - comfortable working with and learning new applications
  • Proficient in SalesForce, Looker or similar BI tool, and SalesLoft or similar
