Job Description

Electric Hydrogen’s mission is to create an abundant and decarbonized material future. Our outstanding people are our most important asset and will allow us to deliver hydrogen from renewable electrolysis for heavy industry, at prices below fossil fuels. 

We are looking to add a versatile, process-driven Finance Operations Manager to help build an excellent Finance department as our growth accelerates. You will manage financial operations and solve important Finance projects to lead scalability, create a supply chain that never breaks (a top-level company OKR), strengthen vendor relationships, and enhance employee experiences when working with our department.

You will report to our Director of Finance. We are open to 100% remote candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a range of Finance initiatives including adding technologies, tax and compliance projects, and other opportunities to create meaningful value.
  • Direct and manage our accounts payable process, credit card programs, and other platforms to improve procure-to-pay and strengthen vendor relationships to create a supply chain that never breaks.
  • Oversee and ensure day-to-day operations are functioning, efficient, and effective. In addition, some specific tasks are required
    • Review, approve, and schedule for payment our accounts payable entered in by our Staff Accountant.
    • Review, approve, and schedule for payment our employee expense reports.
    • Gather and review all contracts for important payment dates, vendor/supplier obligations, and potential compliance issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement of tools and processes so Finance is always ready for continued company growth.
  • Maintain a backlog of Finance priorities and establish methods to ensure progress is being made.
  • Hire, train, and supervise Financial Ops team members to support continued company growth.
  • Partner on and provide analytical and tactical support to other Finance functions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of consulting, finance, or accounting role.
  • Experience managing processes and making continuous improvements
  • Demonstrated success of delivering on complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with dynamic, rapidly growing startups or manufacturing companies
  • Experience with ERP like MS Dynamics, Netsuite, etc.

Compensation & Benefits

Electric Hydrogen has three compensation zones: the San Carlos Zone, the Natick Zone, and the National Zone. All employees are assigned to a compensation zone depending on their work location. Remote employees will be assigned a compensation zone once their work location is determined. This can be discussed with your recruiter.

[San Carlos Zone] Finance Operations Manager (P3): $108,000 - $144,000 per year

[Natick Zone] Finance Operations Manager (P3): $92,000 - $122,000 per year

[National Zone] Finance Operations Manager (P3): $83,000 - $110,000 per year

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​

Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package. We feel strongly that our team should not have to worry about having quality healthcare. In addition to the base salary offered, the hired applicant may receive:​
