Job Description

Redaptive is searching for a dynamic, forward-thinking Head of Partner Success to nurture and expand its partner ecosystem and drive mutually beneficial partner relationships with suppliers of goods and services into our energy and efficiency retrofit construction projects. 
The Head of Partner Success will lead a growing team of five Partner Executives tasked with expanding sales opportunities through partner relationships, identifying new opportunities for partnerships, qualifying and on-boarding new strategic partners, driving further partner engagement and supporting lead generation expansion. This is an external facing role that also requires significant internal cross-functional collaboration spanning our sales, solutions, legal, and finance teams. In this role you will have an opportunity to contribute in a direct and visible way to Redaptive’s top and bottom-line by successfully expanding our partnerships and originations pipeline.
As a senior leadership role with travel requirements, living in driving distance to major US metros where Redaptive has employee concentrations will be prioritized including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Miami and New York City
The role is part of our rapidly scaling Partnerships & Operations team and reports directly to the Chief Partnerships Officer.



Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a partnerships and originations strategy with Redaptive’s consultative & trade partners who are engaged in delivering materials and services into energy efficiency and infrastructure modernization projects across our core C&I target sectors including Retail, Services, Healthcare, Higher Education and Manufacturing
  • Drive sales origination pipeline growth across those sectors through sales from partnership channels such as owner’s rep firms, corporate real estate/facility management firms, OEM’s, contractors / subcontractors, technology providers, and other professional services organizations
  • Identify new business opportunities for Redaptive through development of Redaptive’s partner ecosystem via new and existing industry relationships by analyzing the joint market opportunity (quantitative and qualitative) for existing/future partners and by defining market requirements for successful partnership
  • Lead a team that manages and expands trade partner relationships, qualifies new sales leads through those partnerships and represents Redaptive in external meetings and events with senior partner, customer and industry executives
  • Qualify, structure, negotiate, and manage partnership requests and also represent Redaptive in external meetings and events with senior partner executives
  • Collaborate across internal teams (marketing, engineering, product, sales, delivery, finance, and legal) to launch and engage partners through tightly integrated offerings
  • Develop and manage KPIs to measure partner success performance and manage periodic business review process with partners

Job Requirements / Qualifications 

  • 10+ years in similar field and responsibilities, specifically in partner ecosystem roles in energy performance contracting, commercial real estate, project development, and/or consulting. Strong private sector experience in C&I is a must with municipal experience a plus but not required
  • Willingness and ability to travel (up to 30-50% as required by partnership needs)
  • Demonstrable experience in building channel partnerships with origination pipelines in large scale energy efficiency projects or related industries, e.g., commercial or industrial real estate development, public private partnerships, generation or utility projects, etc.
  • Financial, quantitative and analytical skills with an expert level understanding of energy performance contracts, Energy-as-a-Service or similar pay for performance financial and contracting structures
  • Passionate about energy and sustainability and reducing the impacts of climate change
  • Demonstrated problem-solver, drive-for-results, and “closer” mindset
  • Proven ability to balance bias-for-action with cross-team collaboration
  • Articulate communicator with superior presentation development and delivery skills
  • Demonstrated ability to absorb and learn new domains quickly
  • Strong commercial skills with demonstrated ability to navigate complex relationships
  • Resourceful and comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong relationship management and rapport building
  • Working knowledge of evolving regulatory policies that are driving new growth market prospects, including Commercial PACE, regional climate action laws, FTM and BTM BESS, community solar, etc.
  • Have an ergonomically correct and functional work-from-home workstation set up; amenable to working from home for the foreseeable future
