Role Description
We are looking for a General Accountant who enjoys working in a fast paced, innovative environment. You will be an important part of our growing accounting team and reporting directly to the Controller. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of initiative in improving processes and have a high attention to detail. This role will be responsible for full cycle accounting. This will include, but is not limited to accounts payable, general journal entries, weekly bank reconciliations and monthly reporting packages. Your ability to work both independently and as a member of a small but nimble team is critical, as well as your desire and innovative mindset to operate as a key contributor within a fast-paced, early-stage company. This is an exciting opportunity for an accountant looking to expand their experience and grow with the Company.

- Maintain Prepaid Schedules
- Maintain Equity Schedules
- Support the Accruals Process
- Assist in the preparation of Month End Working Papers
- Assist in the preparation of Quarter End Working Papers
- Assist in the preparation of Annual Financial Statement Working Papers
- Assist in Audit Binder preparation
- Assist in Annual Audits
- Work with finance team to prepare actual to budget reports
- Ad Hoc work
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the AP function
- 2+ years of audit or corporate accounting experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Accounting Degree or diploma required
- Attention to detail is a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to adapt to a system conversion as we grow
