Who You Are

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, Manufacturing Technology, you will be essential to Sila’s success in scaling our advanced manufacturing technologies to meet the skyrocketing demand for next-generation batteries to support consumer devices and electric vehicles. You work cross-functionally with Sila’s teams in Process & Equipment Development, Capital Projects, Materials Development, Battery Engineering, Product Management, Research, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality and Finance. You will ensure tight coordination and alignment while executing plans to meet project objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Drive cross-functional efforts to develop and deploy Sila’s next gen manufacturing technology with a focus on material handling and automation
  • Translate business requirements into plans, with clear assumptions, scope and results
  • Develop detailed program plans and schedules and drive progress, prioritize key activities, and proactively lead risks
  • Crisply and clearly communicate program status to partners and across teams
  • Develop and refine program management tools and processes
  • Drive decision-making through development gate / stage-gate processes and ensure quality of deliverables
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships and promote a supportive program team environment

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering or physical sciences
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or the battery industry
  • Track record of successfully delivering manufacturing technology solutions
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with proven creative and critical thinking
  • Adept at collaborating with both technical and business groups
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location
