About the role:
Cruise's Risk Team is looking for an Sr. Enterprise Risk Analyst to support and enhance the Enterprise Risk Assessment process for Cruise, which will enable decision makers to be better informed and understand the risks across the entire enterprise. You’ll support the Sr. Manager and Director of Risk in further development of the Enterprise Risk Assessment (ERA) process and liaison with other Risk team members on a broader Enterprise Risk Framework. We're looking for someone who has a passion for results-driven approaches and is comfortable with ambiguity and change.
What you’ll get to do:
Lead the day to day activities of Cruise’ enterprise Risk Assessment process, enabling Cruise to make proactive and reactive enterprise-wide risk acceptance decisions
Ensure smooth execution of the ERA program and continuously work to enhance efficiency and effectiveness through the application of appropriate process and execution monitoring
Exercise technical judgment in working with large, multi functional engineers teams
Work to constantly improve partner confidence in the ERA process; ensuring alignment while minimizing team distractions
Effectively communicate execution status of initiatives and program milestone work to all partners, including senior management and executives; Summarize reporting to raise and resolve issues and celebrate wins
Leverage internal and external data to drive decisions
Support the Director of Risk in key projects and deliverables
You Should apply for this role if you possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's in Risk Management, or similar technical field
3+ years of enterprise risk management experience
Experience leading complex fast-paced initiatives spanning multiple teams and organizations, often with conflicting priorities and schedules
Ability to lead and propel a team without acting as a direct authority figure
Ability to quickly build relationships and gain respect cross-functionally
Adaptable, flexible, and able to execute through continuous change
Self-motivated to lead your teams, encourage standard processes, and constantly improve
Bonus points:
Experience working with or for a safety or risk management team
Previous experience in fast scaling, high-tech, or ride-hail industries
Passion for autonomous vehicles and what they will enable in the world
