SUMMARY

The Director of Product Management will be responsible for driving the roadmap for the Consumer product area. You will work closely with the SVP of Marketing to bring our consumer product offering to market. You will help the team operate effectively, ensuring the team has the right guidance, access to stakeholders, and the support they need to be successful. You will effectively drive collaboration across teams, act as the voice of the user, and report status to the senior executive team. You will work closely with engineering and business teams across Nexamp to improve internal tools, processes, integrations with a focused partnership with one of the business verticals that exist at Nexamp. This role is ideal for someone who is business and tech-savvy and thrives in processing multiple complexities and communicating simply. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Own a product vertical:

  • Work with senior leadership to align on the product roadmap. 
  • Collaborate with business leads to flesh out current process and identify pain points through continued discovery. 
  • Prioritize requests and features against strategic goals. 
  • Create user stories, epics, wireframes, acceptance criteria and running agile product development product process. 
  • Advocate for a product strategy into planned work by defining success metrics and key deliverables.
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate decisions, trade-offs, and define roadmap items and its success criteria. 

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with senior management to define the product features, strategy, and roadmap. 
  • Attract, build, manage, and develop an effective product management team.
  • Help define ambitious product objectives and measurable targets.
  • Manage and evolve processes and tools for gathering user feedback and product analytics.
  • Ensure the product management organization is effective by establishing and reporting on clear and measurable goals.
  • Clearly communicate product strategy, roadmaps, priorities, and market research across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels.
  • Engage and cultivate relationships with our users to deeply understand their needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and project management to deliver the products to market.
  • Help drive priorities for your products by building a deep understanding of the business, our customers, the users, and the market landscape.
  • Measure the impact of product releases and use data to inform the roadmap.
  • Develop growth plans for the product.
  • Manage and evolve processes and tools for gathering user feedback and product analytics. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate is data-driven, self-motivated, results-oriented, and operate well in a collaborative, team environment. Key qualifications are as follows:

  • Proven success at building effective product management teams. 
  • 10+ years of experience in product management. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent working knowledge of product management disciplines & techniques. 
  • Strong oral and written communications skills, and experience interacting with business, technical, and executives. 
  • Proven leadership, decision-making, and organization skills.
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Place high value on collaboration and team success.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments.
