Job Brief

Sourcing is instrumental in Twelve’s ability to find, connect with, and hire the best talent. We are looking for a talent research maestro; someone who’s excited about going beyond job descriptions and Linkedin searches to surface a diverse slate of qualified, high caliber talent. Sourcing at Twelve isn’t just building lists, but rather digging deep into the technology to understand the team resourcing needs and market to help surface future Twelve team members. This role will report to Twelve’s Sr Recruiting Manager, and partner with recruiters and hiring managers across the business to support functions varying from Science to Product to Engineering.

What You Will Do

  • Build and implement the talent research function within the Twelve Talent team. 
  • Partner with business leaders, hiring managers, and other members of the Talent team to identify talent in alignment with Twelve’s current and future requirements. 
  • Establish and maintain an understanding of the talent market in alignment with requirements at Twelve. 
  • Build targeted searches in alignment with niche skill sets. 
  • Share talent mapping and sourcing skill sets across the talent team; helping to coach and elevate sourcing skill sets across the team and broadly across Twelve. 
  • Craft thoughtful approaches to candidate outreach that will engage even the most passive and hard to find talent. 
  • Build sourcing campaigns to foster long term relationships with passive talent.

Who You Are

  • Years of experience is less important than capability for us, but we think the person right for this role will have 8+ years of working in talent, with at least 3 dedicated specifically to sourcing. 
  • You have experience sourcing for roles outside of software development, it’s a huge plus if you can build a pipeline for hardware engineering, chemistry, and/or product. 
  • You pride yourself on creative sourcing. It’s not just LinkedIn searches. You’re practiced in finding creative ways to find passive talent. 
  • Data minded; you love to measure, manipulate, and measure again. When it comes to candidate engagement, you’ve got it down to a science. 
  • You are passionate about building, growing, and maintaining relationships with candidates and across the business.
