Senior SAP Basis Administrator

The Sr. SAP Basis Administrator will collaborate with QS Cross functional teams to build a scalable system and/or process solutions to improve efficiency, productivity and security.
Responsibilities:This role will report directly to the Director of SAP Systems and is part of the Enterprise Systems organization. Administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of all S4 Hana environment and broadly understand GCP cloud. Manage the SAP sub-systems, such as like SAP Content Server (KPRO), SAP Web Dispatcher, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP BTP, SAP Ariba, Success factors, SAP Landscape Transformation Server (SLT) Manage the hybrid SAP system landscape, including S/4 HANA, Fiori, GRC, Enterprise Portals and Solution Manager Ability to provide support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, minor enhancements, monitoring, testing) business to maintain productivity level. Work closely with project teams during build, test and go-lives Technical troubleshooting, and support Period (Monthly, quarterly and year end) activities. Plan, manage, implement, support and/or monitor SAP integration solutions and middleware for on-premise, cloud or hybrid scenarios Analyze daily system health checks across all SAP landscapes and provide various proactive measures to reduce any Audit or security breaches including availability of SAP Applications Support finalization of software version based on compatibility and hardware configuration Analyze, recommend, Implement & Maintain HA and DR architecture Analyze, recommend, implement & maintain backup strategy/ backup policy Be the focal for all S4 related activities in the Change Review Board Ability to work independently and lead teams (near-shore/offshore)
Required Skills: Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, and a good understanding of GCP cloud Knowledgeable current and possible future policies, practices, trends, and information affecting multiple business functions and aspects of how they interrelate to other areas. Ability to analyze, diagnose, suggest and implement process changes. Ability to demonstrate strong understanding of SAP applications, infrastructure, and security. Experience in S4 installation, upgrade, planning & setup. Experience in HANA DB installation, upgrade, planning, setup, implementation, and security. SAP Cloud connector Security and parameter consideration, review initial sizing needed for Cloud Connector Understand Basis Security standards & guidelines as well as present solutions and options to leadership, project teams, and other stakeholders.Working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements Ensures detailed requirements are captured from appropriate IT teams. Influences technical solution. Identifies gaps between requirement and design system/application capabilities and negotiates resolution. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously.Create and execute test plans, cases, and scripts; establish and manage acceptance criteria, identifies defects and works to a resolution with the Developers and business teams. Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously work closely with cross functional teams and provide ongoing support, as required, to business function.
Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 7 + years of relevant experience as an SAP Basis and NetWeaver Administrator.
