Nexamp is looking for an experienced and creative storyteller, who can translate data and narratives into visual stories, creative concepts and educational content — coming to life through graphic design, presentations, video, and web content. Supporting the priorities of Nexamp, the storyteller plays a critical role in telling our story and deepening engagement with our mission, vision and values through compelling content.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help Nexamp amplify the way that we tell our story in a way that informs and engages target audiences
  • Be part of a small creative team and a key player in rolling out a brand refresh
  • Develop compelling stories that help define our products, people, customers and mission, working across multiple mediums, including but not limited to infographics, presentations, video, and web content
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders inside and outside the company to bring complex concepts to life in a visually engaging and easy-to-understand format, providing strategic insights on format and style
  • Establish and develop the visual language for infographics and presentations, developing reusable design tools that helps to easily and consistently amplify our stories
  • Manage the design process from start to finish, including concept development, managing feedback and prioritizing the workload on assigned projects
  • Promote strategic thinking and commercial awareness.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional storyteller with outstanding presentation design skills
  • Have strong attention to detail – you sweat the details, yet see the forest for the trees
  • Strong graphic design fundamentals (i.e. typography, color theory, hierarchy, contrast, and grid / alignments)
  • A portfolio showcasing your best creative work
  • Undergraduate studies in art, visual design, communications, advertising or related creative services field
  • You are a proactive, self-motivated team player and are open to exploring new approaches and ideas
  • Strong written and verbal and presentation skills.
  • The ability to deliver against tight timelines, while managing multiple work priorities
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Powerpoint), Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Figma are a plus.

If you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications, but see yourself contributing, please submit an application.  We encourage people from minority or marginalized groups to apply.
