Job Description

Electrum is seeking a remote Technical Project Manager to join a rapidly growing climate tech startup. As a Technical Project Manager, reporting to Sr. Product Manager, you will work across internal teams to build and maintain best-in-class user experiences for cleantech-focused home improvement transactions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working Eastern time zone hours while flexible in order to collaborate with our overseas office.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading coordination and collaboration efforts between US and India based teams; successful candidate must work hours that overlap with both IST and EST
  • Defining and measuring project milestones, effectively prioritizing deliverables, and managing cross-project, cross-team dependencies to meet team-wide delivery goals
  • Cultivate and maintain a deep understanding of business and technical requirements across multiple projects to facilitate collaboration across internal teams within the organization and ensure the success of Electrum’s technical programs
  • Developing, defining, and driving project management best practices across a growing product development team
  • Lead/Participate in Project Check ins and Scrum ceremonies
  • Administering, tailoring, and implementing project management tools, including the Atlassian software suite, to optimize team operation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in a technical field
  • 3+ years work experience within agile software development teams; direct experience in Software Project Management is a plus
  • Strong computer skills, including in-depth experience leveraging project management software; familiarity with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence or similar project management tools
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across a diverse set of perspectives and areas of expertise
  • General knowledge of business, technology, economics and/or finance
  • Flexibility with your working hours in order to collaborate with our overseas' office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for consumer technology and interest in developing a deep understanding of complex products and technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a small, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand group dynamics and psychology
  • PMP Certification is a plus
