Reporting into the Sr. Director, Performance Marketing this critical role owns the strategy and execution of all paid investments on social media (FB, IG, TikTok, etc), across the product portfolio. You will be tasked with optimizing large-scale customer acquisition efforts for both our credit card product ‘Aspiration Zero’, as well as for our ‘Aspiration Spend & Save’ product. We are looking for a leader with a highly quantitative background and deep expertise in all Paid Social properties.

What You'll Do

  • Digital Customer Acquisition – A key business priority and critical to delivering the company’s financial objectives, the Sr. Manager, Paid Social leads the day to day strategy and execution of driving profitable customer acquisition across key target segments of highly mission aligned consumers. This encompasses growing and optimizing our paid digital demand generation mix across Paid Social properties (FB, IG, Tik Tok), prospecting and remarketing - all with the goal of achieving aggressive customer growth and LTV to CAC efficiency targets.
  • This person should have experience driving conversion through web AND app campaigns

  • Budget and Agency Management – Support management of Paid Social monthly budgets to ensure delivery of Aspiration's financial forecast. Lead external agency & vendor relationships, including performance marketing agency and Facebook contact/rep. This person should have a track record of management/oversight and be able to steer the direction of agency partners and define the strategy/plan for optimization. This includes defining optimization strategy and measurement strategies, building a testing roadmap for all social properties, bringing innovative recommendations on new testing opportunities, understanding creative wearout needs and proactively addressing opportunities for new creative and messaging. 

  • Reporting – This person should have a strong competency not only in-engine but an ability to leverage outside BI tools (such as Looker and Tableau) to deliver channel level reporting. This person should be able to not only provide quantitative stats but deliver a story on how the channel is performing.  

  • Internal Collaboration – This person will be responsible for driving strong internal collaboration across other channel owners to help develop a holistic story for performance marketing. This person will also be responsible for collaborating with product, compliance, creative etc. and will need to demonstrate proactive relationship management to ensure their channel is set up for success and continuously improved/optimized. 

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing with key focus on digital performance marketing
  • Demonstrated experience implementing performance marketing initiatives that will scale to support the requirements of a growing organization.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on platform experience with Meta. 
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise across tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, and ideally Segment.
  • Strong financial acumen and demonstrated ability to effectively manage and optimize multi-million dollar acquisition budgets.
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on communications, marketing, and business. Financial Services background is a plus.
