Senior Supply Manager

Do you want to help support world-class R&D and manufacturing capabilities in the energy industry? We need a Supply Manager to join our team and ensure the company can rapidly scale its operations to commercialize its technology and change the world!In this role, you will:
Build and own supplier relationships crucial to our operation: Communicate forecasts, lead regular cross-functional discussions, coordinate material orders, and troubleshoot quality issuesAct as the internal supply specialist in the material category that you lead: Become the “go-to-person” for internal customers, able to provide insights into the market and key playersManage critical material inventory across multiple storage locations and generate data to inform inventory policyCollaborate with industry-leading scientists and engineers to source new material to support exciting, constantly evolving development workEnsure our supply chain resilience through identifying and qualifying new suppliers that can support us through our rapid growth
Minimum requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, with exposure to manufacturing environmentsYou have a solid track record for balancing multiple priorities and working across cross-functional teams.You are organized and pay attention to the detailsYou are both an outstanding communicator and listener, with a focus on the customerYou have experience reading technical part drawingsYou have excellent Excel skills
Additional Skills:Experience working with battery materials and knowledge of battery suppliers and market is a plusExperience in business, operations, or supply chain management is a plusExperience acting as the interface between technical internal customers and external suppliers is a bonusMandarin or Japanese language skills are a plus
