Where in the world of OVO will I be working?

We're searching for a hardworking and delivery focussed Head of Product Management to join OVO’s Colleague Technology department. We are on a mission to design, build, and ensure an ever-greened estate for products that can be delivered at speed, and at enterprise scale.

We work closely with InfoSec to set the strategy and direction for OVO’s IAM, Zero Trust and device capabilities including data and application (incl. SaaS) protection, detection and response.

Coalescing around a single but co-authored strategy ensures our vision and roadmaps are in line with business objectives. We believe the successful applicant will help us further mature the overall security posture, improve colleague tech experiences and help deliver impactful and scalable security initiatives!

What will I be doing?

• Define and drive product vision, strategy and metrics. Keeping an eye on technology horizons, and investigating new product and technology trends to advance our security capabilities
• We're after a balance around usability, efficiency, and security, so we can scale and build optimal experiences for employees across multiple brands and locations
• Collaborating with DevSecOps and security architects to ensure technical capabilities, happiness, resilience, and growth maturely determines what we buy, what we build, and how we collaborate with technology providers
• Ensure teams are doing the right thing, as we're striving towards a healthy balance of innovation, support and maintenance so a coaching style of leadership is desired

Is this the job for me?

• We need a pragmatic leader adept at resolving ambiguity, who can balance requirements for security around an outstanding colleague experience. Deriving joy from crafting and presenting a vision for Security, enabling customers across Ovo to understand the what and the why. Possess an authentically curious and ambitious outlook that encourages others, acting as a role model, and embodying our values.
• Anchoring key principles around Data Driven Decision Making to shape and support wider Technology and Product decisions; a strong technical background and wide knowledge of cyber, IAM and endpoint/application management would be a useful springboard.
